Happy New Year is a Bollywood action-comedy film released in 2014. The movie revolves around a team of six losers who come together to execute a diamond heist during a dance competition in Dubai. The story begins with Charlie (Shah Rukh Khan), a talented street fighter and a dance enthusiast, who assembles a team of people with unique skills to compete in the World Dance Championship in Dubai. The team includes a hacker, a safe-cracker, a disguise expert, and two dancers.
The motive behind this dance competition is to get closer to the vault where the diamonds are kept.
